Limaj: Investigation into me as minister was aimed at destroying my authority

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has said that investigations into the Ministry of Transport at the time he was minister have aimed at destroying only his authority, so that in the war crimes trials no one will be sorry. There have been massive human rights violations. Investigations at the Ministry of Transport have had the goal of having a war crimes pass. The whole process shows that the Ministry's actions have been to destroy my authority so that when it's done in war crimes, we don't pity anyone”, Limaj said.

Limaj made these comments at RTV Dukagjin's Debat Plus, where he also commented on the report of the former chairman of the EULEX's assembly of judges, Malclom Simmons, before Kosovo Assembly deputies.

“For the first time Simmons has not given opinions and interviews, but has addressed the highest institution in Kosovo and witnessed. The evidence, which is witnessed and transliterated by the Assembly of Kosovo. Kosovo institutions already have a testimony from the former head of judges to EULEX, which confirms what he has said in the past and tells some more questions than he has said so far”, he said at Dukagjin's Debat Plus.

Limaj added that Simmons testimony is the best fact that mission EULEX has taken action against former KLA leaders.
