Left his son to die of cold outside the house, his mother is accused of murder

Haqueem Hussain was found dead outside his great uncle's roof house, where he and his mother had been staying in Nechels, Birmingham.

Two ambulances and a quick aid went to the scene, but he had suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be saved.

Hakeem's mother, Laura Heath, 39, is now charged with murder and four counts of atrocities against a child.

Hakeem was a third-grader at elementary school, and the event took place only a few meters from his apartment.
