After the end of this session, the defendants' lawyers spoke.

Silvana Arsovich's lawyer, Musa Damati, before reporters has said he exposes statements by some of the top Serbian political figures, as he said they have tried to politicise his involvement and commitment as a lawyer in this criminal case.

I expose them, are not true, and such statements can be interpreted as intervention in justice. I as a lawyer work from the beginning on this volume criminal case and will give my maximum professional contribution to concreteise my client's innocence and, at the end of this legal process, will be confirmed that my client is accidentally involved in the special prosecutor's indictment”, Damati said February.

While Rade Basaras' lawyer, Tome Gashi, said his client has been a Kosovo Police investigator, while demanding that the detention measure against him be stopped.

There is no evidence because he has not done this, no information has been given to Serbian services, neither to the Serbian police nor to others. He has been following a hierarchy he has given responsibility for, and all are senior Kosovo Police officials in the Mitrovica region where he worked. It is very, very important to prove that members of the Kosovo Police have not been involved in the murder of politician Oliver Ivanoviq”, Gashi said.

He said that “is important to prove that Kosovo Police members have not been involved in the murder of politician Oliver Ivanoviq”.

“As far as Milan Radojici is concerned about whether he or she has ever met his criminal group, there is not yet an all-powerful decision to prosecute him, for his involvement in the murder of Oliver Ivanoviqi”, Gashi added, writes Telegrafi.

Oliver Ivanov, who since the end of the war in Kosovo, has been among the most important politicians where he has faced a court process on charges of his role in killing Albanians in wartime, was killed on January 16th 2018 prior to his party's target in northern Mitrovica.
