Full announcement of the Chief Chief Office:
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has named Andy Hoti, chairman of the Government Commission for Missing Persons.
The issue of missing persons is one of the priority issues of the Government of Kosovo, and today's appointment shows that this topic goes beyond politics. The pain and anguish that families face for 23 years grows more and more, so it is up to us as Government to do the best we can to ease this situation by engaging more in whiteling the fate of their loved ones.
For the Government of Kosovo it is important to have a common front against Serbia in our demands for confrontation with the past.
