Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, accompanied by Vlora Citaku, has hosted the European Union Office Chief in Kosovo today, Thomas Szunyog.
At this meeting, Krasniqi has demanded that the EU make the decision that Kosovo citizens move freely to the Schengen Zone after Kosovo has met all criteria for visa liberalisation.
He has written on his Facebook page that the PDK will continue to support the state goal of EU integration.
PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi's full statement:
Integration into the European Union is our national priority, and the PDK will continue to support this process in any direction. At a meeting with EU Office Chief in Kosovo, Thomas Szunyog, I confirmed this position, as well as repeated calls for the EU to make the decision that our citizens should move freely to the Schengen Zone, when it has already been confirmed that Kosovo has met all criteria for visa liberalisation.
