Lulzimi said that late in the evening Sunday they returned home, after staying in the town which, according to him, was almost completely flooded.
We went in the morning and waited long in columns to get into town”, Hajdaraj said.
On the other hand, he said that once he and his brother arrived in town, they have asked who needs help in cleaning up residences and premises, which, Lulzim says, were damaged and filled with mud.
In the first floors, the basements were broken, there was a lot of mud. We helped throw them out. It was sad to see an entire town destroyed”, Albanian said from the village of Abri of the Darnas municipality.
Among other things, Lulzimi told Clankosova.tv that the Germans had been happy that these two Albanian brothers had taken their way from Klinni to get help.
They rejoiced that we had not forgotten their help that they did in wartime and what the German state does today. Another resident we met asked us where you were from, and we told him we came from Kosovo and we came to help you with this disaster that happened. He started crying and said thank you several times for joining us in these difficult times”.
Finally, Lulzim said that he and his brother wanted to contribute even more, but because of their business in Kiln, they had to continue working.
He also stressed that, along with them, there was an Albanian, resident of the town of Bad Neunar, who helped Kosovo brothers.
At least 157 people are reported to have died of floods, including four firefighters. About 31 people died in Belgium.
Thousands of people are missing, but many have been found.
In the town of Bad Neuenahr in the Ahrweiler region of Rhineland-Palatinate, residents (both Albanians) have launched a cleaning operation, removing mud from roads and garbage dumps.
