MPs from the Kosovo Assembly with 69 votes for, none against and no abstention have adopted the draft amendment and completion of the Law on budgetary divisions for 2021.
At the introduction of the discussion, the chairman of the Commission for Labour, Board and Transfer, Armend Muja, has said that some of the contracts that have been on pre-electoral effects have been cancelled.
According to Muja, this review is being made to support the country's economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
While this review was rejected by opposition parties.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Bedri Hamza has said that no amendment of opposition deputies has been accepted in reviewing the budget for 2021.
Hamza had indicated that the bill has a disrepute with what is envisioned in the Government Programme.
And according to Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP, Pal Lekaj budget review has not been made on the needs of citizens.
Days earlier, by majority of votes, the Parliament had approved the first review of the budget.
With the revised budget, expenditures will total 2 billion of 516m euros, while revenues will be 2 billion and 43m euros.
Also, it is meant to be an international loan-shaped agreement on covering the consequences caused by COVID-19, but has been rejected by opposition MPs.
