Lieutenant Colonel Avni Kicina has completed the Advanced Command and Staff Course at the United Kingdom Defence Academy
Another success of KSF officers in schooling and training abroad, dated 19.08.2021, KSF member Lieutenant Colonel Avni Kiciina has successfully completed the Advanced Command and Staff Course at the United Kingdom Defence Academy.
The goal of this course is to prepare the top 20% of United Kingdom Armed Forces officers and Allied countries for appointments in command positions and staff for OF4-6 degrees (from subcolonel to Brigadier General).
The educational programme of this course is focused on international relations and security, the construction of National Defence Strategy, the management of defence property with particular focus on building military capacities and executive leadership, as well as the operational planning of military campaigns, defence ministries and NATO.
Course director Captain Kevin Rowlands of the Royal Navy praised the commitment and achievements of Lieutenant Colonel Kicina during the course.
