Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia: It's our people working in Germany.

He has expressed condolences to the victims' families, saying that they and the victims who were injured are our “people working in Germany”.

We are unfortunately here because of a terrible accident. I would just like to thank the Government of the Republic of Croatia and all the authorities that helped us at this time. I can only express my condolences to families and ask them to have understanding about us. We will all be close to them in these difficult times”, Casapolis said.

He added that the bus was of a tourist company from Kosovo, while speaking with little emotion for those who died and others who remained injured.

These are all our people working in Germany and coming on vacation in Kosovo”, Kasapolli said.

Croatian Civil Defence Chief Damir Trut and Health Minister Willi Beros have gone to the site of the tragic event where 10 people died as a result of the accident of a Kosovo bus that was coming from Frankfurt in Pristina.

After visiting the hospital in Slavonski Brod, where 45 injured sought help, Willi Beros addressed the public, showing that 15 people have been seriously injured, among whom a young girl, reports Index.hr.

Regional hospital director Dr. Josip Samardzchi said 45 people had been admitted to the hospital since morning, who had sought medical assistance after this serious accident on the highway near Slavonski Brod, and that eight were badly injured.

According to the Croatian medium, 24sata.hr, bus drivers from Kosovo who were carrying exiles from Frankfurt to Pristina had fired on the coast for half an hour before the accident. There they had changed, and the other driver had taken the bus route. It's supposed to be because of the driver's fatigue.

One of the drivers who wasn't driving at the tragic moment is dead, while the suspect is staying at the police station.
