Kadri Wessel met Father for the last time at the hospital, not known when he was released from prison for burial

Fazli Wessel, the father of former Prime Minister Kadri Wessel, is dead today. The same was in serious health for several months.

The news of his death was confirmed by his family.

Wessel had last met his father in May of this year. He was allowed to visit Kosovo, since his father was in serious health condition.

Shortly after arriving in Kosovo, Wessel had visited the Mitrovica hospital “D. Sami Hadzibeqiri”, under the presence of numerous security forces, including the Elux Police.

Shortly after this visit, Wessel had returned to custody at The Hague, where he is currently located.

So far, there is no information about when he will be released from prison to attend the funeral.

For the death of Wessel's father, former PDK chairman Enver Hoxhaj has also written.

He told about his last meeting with her through a post.

Hoxhaj indicated that the last time he met him was a few days after Kadri Wessel was headed for The Hague.

The last time I met him, a few days after Kadriu was headed to The Hague, he shook my hand at his house in Mitrovica, he was faithful and steadfast that Kosovo will become. It was he who, in his words, motivated us to gather the strength and pain to turn it into energy to continue the work of President Wessel in the construction of Kosovo.
