Hoxhaj for Thaci and Veselin at the Convention: We're proud of them, I'm convinced they'll come back

Former PDK chief Enver Hoxhaj has spoken at the PDK Convention, where the new chairman of this party is expected to be elected.

In his speech, Hoxhaj has also mentioned the two former leaders of this party, Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselin.

I am convinced that Kadri Veselin and Hashim Thaci will turn white because our war has been fair. They will turn to their families and the PDK. We their collaborators are very proud of them. They never put personal interest in the interests of Kosovo”, Hoxhaj has said.

Hoxhaj said the PDK was born from the Kosovo Liberation Army and from Serbia's cold prisons.

The Kosovo Democratic Party has been born from the Kosovo Civil Army and the cold Serbian prisons. I'm glad to see the party's creative figures, but I'm glad to see young people, too. The PDK does not view it as part of history, but also as an upbuilding of the future”, Hoxhaj added.

Hoxhaj added that the new chairman who leaves this convention will have everyone's support.

Otherwise, 794 delegates will attend the Convention.

Under the deadline set on the day of the election proclamation, until 5 o'clock Thursday, the party chairman's candidacy has been submitted only to Memli Krasniqi.
