Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj has criticised the Vetevendosje Movement over board dismissals today, when the possibility for the dismissal of the Railways Regulatory Authority Board is being considered.
Zemaj has said that these decisions, the ruling party, are making them for political purposes and not as it claims to halt abuses.
It's best to have the reasoning in short Albanian, transparent, but not without reason or reason that the citizen has already understood, which is simple, which is also for catching this institution. It doesn't mean that railways have no problems in Kosovo, whether with property or with illegal locks, whether with construction, other things, or with risk, which we all know, and how they have developed, not only here, but recently in the region and across Europe. Either way, I don't think that's a good reason, the reasons are political cigars, they're biased”, Zemaj said.
Zemaj said the boards are being rushed, with biased and political intentions.
Stop these evil thieves, and these tendencies, because it's taken, it's a shame, you've got the mandate to make changes, to stop the abuses that have been introduced, not to keep on stealing from the railroad. That's why you don't even get the loan agreement approved, because you don't trust”, he added.
Kosovo Assembly MPs at the plenary session are considering the recommendation of the Commission for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, Environment, Space Planning and Infrastructure for the dismissal of members of the Board of the Railways Regulatory Authority.
The Board of Regulatory Railway Authority is headed by Arsim Berisha, while members are Guzim Qerim, Shculmbim Hyseni and Ilmi Ahmeti.
