Haxhiu: Government has failed to provide vaccines and manage process

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Bekim Haxhiu has said the Kosovo government has failed to provide vaccines and manage the process.

He said Kosovo is the last country in Europe to have secured a contract for supply of vaccines.

“Desponding on vaccine insurance and management of the vaccine process...The contract for the vaccine supply is continuing to be kept secret”, he said.

According to him, the container, the donation from Norway, is contrary to the Law on Equipment and Medical Products, which he said confirms that if a product is imported to Kosovo and has an expiration deadline less than a year then the import moment should have 2/3 of the expiration time.

He further said there are differences of data for daily, first and second vaccines, as well as total numbers.
