AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has talked about current topics in the country.
On the issue of the minister, which was re-actualised during the meeting of leaders of Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia in Skopje, Haradinaj said: “Kosovo is unable to become part of such initiative because of non-recognition from Serbia. Bilateral recognition would create opportunities for Kosovo to join this initiative as well as for all regional co-operation, and in the interest of this initiative it would be recognition, and I think that at these meetings both Prime Minister Rama and Prime Minister Zaev should be discussed because it is a matter of the region as well as this”.
He also added that: “We have had our remarks from the beginning for this initiative because Kosovo has been placed in an uneven position in starting and continuing, and I think that Prime Minister Kurti has done well not to join this initiative, for the fact that we are in an equal position and cannot go as a second row at a” table.
Asked how you see Kurti's governance, Haradinaj replied: “the Kurti government is strongly challenged because of the lack of expertise, experienced people, at the same time it's a kind of laser because of the power of numbers is going into arrogance. The actions of this government are at odds with what citizens hoped for, is an ambush as a hope that I have described as fraud. I'm sorry because Kosovo citizens have waited long and hoped, but this is democracy that gives someone the chance to see how valuable it is”.
As for dialogue, Haradinaj reaffirmed his stance on American involvement at the negotiating table.
The “Dialogue with Serbia produces results only when America is involved in the process. There can be no positive results without America, we've said that and asked constantly, and we continue to insist on an active role in dialogue”.
Voicing conviction for the good results of AAK in municipal and for the fall of Haradinaj's LV: “Local elections differ from nationals, because citizens will not compare the hope of change, but will evaluate each at the local level. I believe Vetevendosje will have a different outcome in local elections”.
