Hakki Abazi seeks recognition of Kosovo's independence by 5 member states, sitting in UN

Kosovo's non-recognition by five European Union countries poses a danger to EU security itself. So it was said at the meeting of the parliamentary Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diaspore, as political unity and strategic national plan was called for in representation of Kosovo abroad. Commission Chairman Haki Abazi said the open process of dialogue has created the justification of 5 EU member states to extend recognition of Kosovo.
“All related to recognition must be priority. What I'm taking over is to talk to the minister to see what has been done in the past in this direction. This is not being taken for criticism of the past. What I can share with the commission is that not recognising Kosovo's independence is the risk of the European Union's security umbrella. Our mood is to take the seat at UN”, he said.
AAK MP Time Kadrijaj said that non-recognition of the state of Kosovo by 5 EU nations is an obstacle to Kosovo.
It also raised the issue of free movement, saying it is unfair that Kosovo does not have visa liberalisation, while stressing that other countries are gaining candidate status.
“We must follow a common approach. Kosovo has met all conditions. There should be no mistakes like that of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, because we, against political affiliation, represent our state in meetings abroad. Foreign policy officials go to make these mistakes for me is unacceptable. Recognition of Kosovo's independence should be a requirement, even visa liberalisation and recognition. Unfortunately, last year we were Mondays because of the pandemic. It is much easier to infiltrate those countries through parliamentary diplomacy than through government. It would be nice to arrange Bible meetings shortly after the break. Parliamentary commission meetings have an impact”, she said, broadcasts the KP.
MP Ariana Musliu-Shoshi said a national strategic plan for representation of Kosovo in foreign diplomacy should be drafted.
She added that through friendship groups, bilateral meetings can be organised so that representatives of countries that have not recognised the country can become better acquainted with what is Kosovo.
