The Municipal Safety Council in the Community (KKSB) in Gjilan has calmly praised the security situation in the municipality of Gjilan, while calling on resident citizens to refrain from going out in the city, during the time while the exiles are here, to allow them more space and opportunity to enjoy holidays at their homeland.
Otherwise, Naser Nundman, deputy commander of the Police Station in Gjilan, has said the good security situation is the result of the contribution of citizens of this municipality, the commitment of the law bodies, as well as police co-operation with the community.
He recalled that now that we are in vacation time and as a result of the relief of anti-Condavid measures, we have an influx of exiles who have come and are still coming to their homes on vacations, and this is being seen by the tolls that are being created on the streets and traffic.
In connection with this situation, the police station has prepared the operational plan, which they will apply on the ground and has to do with driving cars, speeding, stopping at banned sites, using alcohol, using telephone and other measures affecting communication security.
In the meantime, in the case of criminal acts, Bemerman said that during July, 13 cases of domestic violence were recorded, while years of age and serious crime were reported 24 cases, including the village of Malisheva, where police are continuing with the implementation of the operational plan and there have recently been no new cases of theft there.
As a result of the investigative work, 2 people have been arrested, while 2 others are on the run in connection with the massive thefts that took place in the municipality of Gjilan and are suspected of being involved in the village of Malisheva.
The KKSB found that the municipality of Gjilan, does not currently face an extreme problem, but there is an increase in the volume of jobs in police and municipal organs due to the time of annual holidays, the arrival of exiles, vaccines.
Halit Rexhepi, leader of the KKSB, said he joined the proposal of imam Agim Hyseni that this security mechanism extends the invitation to citizens, not to restrict freedom of movement, but to create opportunities for better use of space from our exiles, not to leave the city without need.
The KKSB also called on municipal institutions to meet free jobs, which have remained such after retirement, or the death of any municipal official, so that the necessary citizens can be provided.
As for the number of cases of domestic violence, where there are constantly dilemmas on the real situation, Rexhepi said it seems that figures do not have to deal with an increase in violence, but are indications of an increase in citizens' awareness of reporting cases.
