Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Grovalla, has said that Kosovo's relations with Greece has undergone a slight rise, until she added that good news is expected from this state.
Snoring an interview for Kosovo Radio Television (RTK) has said it cannot specify when these news will come.
With Greece we are on a good track to consolidate our representation. We have had a slight rise in this representation, and we are in talks to strengthen and consolidate this representation. I can't say either the date or the month or the week, because it's not serious to talk about things that might happen in the future by speculating on the date when they can happen. But I can tell you that we are on a very good path with Greece. Soon we will have good news from Greece”, she said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has said she is co-operating with other EU member states, which have not yet recognised Kosovo's independence.
I have met with other counterparts in this 5th of the EU who have not yet recognized us. Of course I didn't put them on their shoulders against the wall telling them you should know us, but I appealed that recognition would be a very important step on our path to the EU. At the same time I offered to have bilateral relations in all other areas. Because we appreciate that once we have a unified relationship in other fields, we can also open up the subject of knowledge that will succeed. I don't doubt we'll get recognition from these states but I can't say when. But we're on our way”, she added.
