China (China People's Republic) was recognised by the UN on October 25, 1971, under the motion (request) filed by Albania (Resolute 2758).
Until then, the representative of the Chinese people at the UN was Taiwan (China Republic), who became a member immediately after the UN was established in 1945.
And today China, not only does it not recognise Kosovo but it also makes it different diplomatic activities!
