For the situation of fires in Albania, the defence ministry has engaged several military groups, but so far there are no reports of improving the situation.
Defence Minister Niko Peleshi said through a Facebook post Saturday that there are eight active fireholes that are being worked intensively for their neutralisation, says Eronews.al.
In the most critical areas, such as Karaburun, Shiyak, Permet, Fieri, etc., the weapons and troops of the Armed Forces have been engaged, Pelesh reported.
It has called on residents of surrounding communities to denounce any case where deliberate wrongdoing is observed and to be careful because, as warned by the Institute of Gascensions, Energy, Water and Environment (IGJEUM) high temperatures and droughts can increase the cases of fires in the country.
The Supreme State Control has begun to control all the links of fire - response structures in all the cities where the flames are burning pastures and forests.
