Fellow villagers are waiting five hours at the Merdara border crossing

Many of our fellow countrymen are facing long expectations at border crossings with the Serina even today, when air temperatures are near 40 degrees.

According to recent data, the National Centre for Border Management (March 18:19), until the influx of fellow countrymen coming to Kosovo has increased, the number of those who have ended their holidays in their homeland and are returning to Western European countries.

Longer expectations have been registered at the Kosovo exit, at the border crossing point in Merdara, where columns of up to 1,500m were created, and fellow countrymen are waiting up to five hours. While entering Kosovo at this border crossing point is expected by 20 minutes, Telegrafi reports.

Even at the border crossing with Serbia, in Muciba, for exit from Kosovo, fellow countrymen are waiting up to two hours, while the convoy of vehicles is up to a mile.

Meanwhile, in the White Land, columns and longer waitings of up to 90 minutes have been established on the Serbian side of the border, entry into Kosovo.

At the border crossing point at Jarinje also must be expected up to 40 minutes to enter Kosovo.

The situation at other Kosovo border crossings with neighbouring countries is better and for entry and exit is no longer expected than 5-10 minutes.
