Family members of the dead: Disillusioned by Kurt's meeting with Vucinqi, he did not mention what he promised

The next meeting between Kosovo and Serbia will be on July 25th, while a lower-level meeting is expected to take place even this week. Family members insist that when the issue of the dead is discussed, they will be their representatives as part of the delegation.

Bajram Cerkini from the Missing Persons Source Centre said he was disappointed by the first meeting between Kurti and Vuciqi. He said the Kosovo chief of executive should insist that the Serbian president apologise.

I'm very disappointed because it wasn't said or mentioned what was promised before it went into dialogue. First, they asked you for forgiveness but not regret, but the fourth point that family members disappointed with what was promised, and what had to be spoken of”, Cerkini stressed.

Cerkini estimates the Kosovo delegation did not go well prepared at the first meeting, but wishes to change to future meetings. He insists that the dead not be left fourth.

The chairman of the Co-ordinating Council for Missing and War Crimes, Ahmet Gajchev, says it is very important for family members to put the recent war crimes leaders to justice.

Kurti said that at this meeting, they showed their critical stance on the process and agreements so far, while expressing readiness for constructive dialogue for mutual recognition. This meeting did not agree to the dialogue agenda, while Kurti made four proposals.
