With handcuffs in his hands, he was brought to the District Court in Slavonski Brod.
These decided to appoint the detention measure for a month for the driver who caused the accident in Croatia.
Investigative Judge Mile Soldo said this decision is due to the suspect's escape.
Soldo added that the case will take place in Croatia, but that the case will likely go to Kosovo as well.
Meanwhile, the suspect who the previous day was quietly protected has already appointed two defence lawyers.
One of them, Igor Cvivka, denied that his client had fallen asleep until he showed what the bus driver told him about the case.
As for the statement that he had fallen asleep, the deputy prosecutor said this stems from the manner and circumstances in which the work was carried out and the tracks of tires.
He also confirmed that an expertise in the case would be required.
