There were 67 passengers and 2 drivers on the bus. Unfortunately, nine passengers and a driver were killed”, Trut said.

He said that among the passengers on the bus there were children, while he didn't tell if there are children among the 10 dead.

“44 passengers were admitted to hospital at Slavonski Brod. Eight were badly injured, four were operated”, Trut said.

According to the Croatian medium, 24sata.hr, bus drivers from Kosovo who were carrying exiles from Frankfurt to Pristina had fired on the coast for half an hour earlier. There they had changed, and the other driver had taken the bus route. It's supposed to be because of the driver's fatigue.

Among the dead is the other driver, who wasn't driving the bus at the time.
