The drill calls “Open Balkans” dangerous initiative

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Donika Grovalla has said that the regional initiative now named “Open Balkan” is dangerous, and through it the impression that the region has an alternative on the road to the European Union. At a joint conference with her counterpart in Skopje, Foreign Minister and Diaspora has said there is no need [...]
A day after Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia signed agreements on regional initiative, known as the Balkan minister, but since yesterday was appointed as <x0-2>Open Balkans”, Kosovo's foreign minister has again shown the government's stance in opposing this initiative.
“As the Republic of Kosovo, the initiative of Novi Sad in the meantime, since yesterday's Open Balkans, we consider it dangerous. Why we consider it dangerous, because it creates the impression that we have an alternative message to our common route as the region towards the EU, and that this message is being delivered, we consider it to be more dangerous than the delays that might occur in the meantime during our” integration process, Gervala said.
It has cited the Berlin process in which all countries in the region are part of what it has said the opening of parallel initiatives does not present something new.
“We have a joint regional process where we are all countries of the region, the process is called the Berlin Process, and we have been trying to postpone before the agreements affecting all our citizens. In this initiative the Republic of Kosovo is an equal partner with the other five Balkan states, and we consider opening parallel initiatives which basically do not represent anything new, it is dangerous for how we see it ourselves in the region, but also how it is viewed by the EU. It's my impression that this initiative, formerly called mini-sensis and now open, is asked who, it puts a question on even the geostrategic definitions that our region has, because in our region not all states have the same geostrategic definition”, Gervala said until he answered journalists' questions about the minister.
Kosovo, Montenegro and neither Bosnia and Herzegovina have joined this initiative.
Foreign Minister and Diaspora Donika Grovalla is standing on official visit to the North Macedonian headquarters. The first of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has reacted in this regard.
