Delta variation causes chaos in some parts of the world

Tokyo, this summer's star city of Olympic Games, is now in a state of emergency because of the increasing number of coronavirus infected in Japan.

Organisers of the sports event banned the audience's participation in almost all Olympic venues, while foreigners have been banned since earlier.

Games take place from July 23rd to August 8, while the state of emergency in Tokyo lasts until August 22, shortly before the start of the Olympics.

Japan has not been hit by coronavirus as many countries, but has recorded more than 815,440 cases in total and nearly 15,000 victims.

Only 28 percent of Japanese citizens have received at least one dose of the vaccine against coronavirus.

The recent chaos triggers the Delta version of coronavirus, which, according to the World Health Organization, is more contagious than previous versions.

Australia's largest city, Sydney, will extend isolation, as officials warned that daily coronavirus cases will likely exceed 100, due to the Delta version explosion.

Daily infections have increased every day, even though Sydney has entered isolation more than two weeks ago.
