His wife informed the police that her children were accidentally poisoned. She accused her husband after one of them died.

The police say that 27-year-old Ali Nausad Ansar had a fight with his wife and that he then took his children out for ice cream and poisoned them with mouse poison, to take them “inated”

The couple's 6-year-old man died at Zion's hospital, run by the government, in the suburb of Mumbai, Manhurd.

Police recorded a murder case and two cases of attempted murder against Ansar. Local media report that he was a day laborer and lived in sata Nagar, writes IndependentReport Express.

Authorities believe his wife originally lied to the police in an attempt to protect her husband because she initially said children had accidentally consumed the poison, but Tuesday she accused the man of poisoning them.

In the statement given to the police, Mrs. Begum said the couple often had arguments about the money. On June 25, she had left home and had visited the sister.
