Egypt's Appeal Court upheld the eternal sentences for ten members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Among the convicts is the supreme guide of the movement, Mohammed Badie.
Eternal sentences of 25 years in prison in Egypt were originally pronounced in 2019.
The ten men were sentenced for violence during the 2011 revolution, which led to the overthrow of dictator Hosni Mubarak.
The court also acquitted eight middle-ranking leaders of the Islamic organisation. They were sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Islamist President Mohammed Morsi succeeded Mubarak, but the army, led by current Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Assi, brought down Morsi after mass protests against his rule.
Sis declared the Muslim Brotherhood illegal in 2013 and imprisoned thousands of its supporters.
The court's recent decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
