Health Minister Arben Vitita has declared that people who have been attacked in Croatia who are in good health will be returning home today.
He has said 26 people will return to Kosovo today, while 15 are still lying there receiving health care -- 2 of them in the intensive unit -- while one still in serious condition.
Vitia has thanked the Croatian health personnel and authorities for their commitment to the accident case.
These days, together with Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Jelal Svechla has been closely following the situation with our fellow countrymen who were hurt by the tragic accident.
After recent discussions with the hospital management at Slavonski Brod and Health Minister Willy Beros, I have now been released by 26 fellow countrymen who feel good and have settled in adequate surroundings. Their return to Kosovo is being prepared tonight.
For now at the Slavonski Brod hospital are still 15 fellow countrymen of whom two are in intensive care and one of them is still in serious condition.
Others are stable and out of danger for life. While a patient who had been sent to the hospital in Zagreb is in stable condition and out of danger for life.
More reliefs are expected during today.
Endless thanks to the hospital staff and Croatian authorities for the commitment and rapid response to the assistance offered to our fellow countrymen.
Congratulation to all family and citizens of the Republic for the loss of the lives of our ten fellow citizens in this tragic accident and rapid recovery for patients, ensuring that the Government will constantly stand by to ease some pain in these difficult moments for all of us.
