Apart from charges and counteraccusa, what did Kurti-Vuchic's two meetings bring?

Opposition political parties criticised Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti for his recent meeting in Brussels with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, and his approach to dialogue with Serbia, naming the meetings as what they say “meetings that are not producing any results”. Kurti and Vuciq at the last meeting, held in Brussels on 19 July, disagreed on nothing, while with a dose of nervousness, they accused each other of rejecting mutual proposals they offered at the meeting.
Opposition party spokeswoman the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Sbel Halimi, says the “lack of dialogue platform with Serbia, with clear targets presented in the Assembly before and after each meeting, will reduce Kosovo to the performance level for domestic consumption of Prime Minister Albin Kurti”.
The dialogue process will need to be guided in the precise definition of what Kosovo actually learns to achieve from this process of dialogue. So far, what we've seen from the meetings are nothing but an extraordinary opportunity of Kurti to his audience to accumulate political power. The crowd is marked for irrationality, moved with similar situations, so the prime minister's approach is without vision!”, Sübel Halimi wrote on Facebook.
Former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who leads the other opposition party Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), named Kurti-Vuçaj “a vain meeting of Kosovo-Serbia” dialogue. He said that the “seconds each side has only one interest, with populist rhetoric tricking its people on the eve of the” election.
Kosovo's “prime minister has decided not to do anything in this process. He doesn't want to understand that without US involvement, dialogue is dead. He doesn't want to realize that with Lajcak's Borrell, he's in a dead end. The further the involvement of an American emissary in dialogue is postponed, the damage will be greater, even for Kosovo the prime minister! If America were in dialogue, we would already be on the verge of final agreement! Can anyone explain this to Albin Kurt! ”, Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
Charge and Against Charge
The two meetings that took place between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, one on June 15th and the other on July 19th, produced charges and counteracles between the parties. After the last meeting, Albin Kurti said he has proposed a 6-point agreement, but that it has been rejected by the Serb side yet without reading.
“I proposed an agreement written with 6 articles as a declaration of peace between Kosovo and Serbia, which was rejected, so what I had asked last time to have a peace declaration, and I prepared in a six-nine text, but was still refused without reading”, Kurti said, among other things. According to him, the silent refusal to show Serbia's unwillingness for the deal.
Meanwhile, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq said that “with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, it is very difficult to negotiate”.
I have spoken to Hashim Thaci, Isa Mustaf, Avdullah Hoti of Ramush Haradinaj, but I have never heard of these. They've always asked for recognition from Serbia, it's always been hard, but at least something we've agreed on, like it's a day, it's Monday, Friday. But now we can't even negotiate with Kurt whether it's a day or what day of the week is”, Vuciq said, broadcast Serbian public media rts. According to him, there's nothing you can do about Kurt. The media in Serbia writes that the Serbian side is discussing the possibility of interrupting dialogue with Kosovo, but this is not confirmed by the mediator of this European Union dialogue. The next Kosovo-Serbia political summit is said to be held in early September. / DW
