Bus driver's lawyer: She never told me she was asleep while driving

Lawyer Igor Cisper is one of two lawyers who will protect the company's driver “Deva Tours”, who allegedly caused the tragic accident at Slavonski Brod on Sunday morning, where 10 travelers died and 45 others were injured, all fellow countrymen returning to Germany for vacation in Kosovo.

He has denied what has been written long and wide in Croatian media -- and then those in Kosovo -- that the driver being investigated for this accident had stated that he had been asleep for a moment, and that the accident was caused.

I was never told at any moment that he slept”, Cisper said, confirming that he and other lawyer, Lubo Pavasovic, will protect the driver during the trial process, follows the Index.hr.

The 52-year-old driver, today, has been assigned a month-long detention measure. He, in an interview by the Croatian Prosecutor, was protected in silence Monday.
