The president made the comments while hosting more than 1,000 guests on the White House lawn, including critical sector employees and families of American soldiers. But as the war continues he said we should all be vaccinated.
During his speech President Biden said that thanks to the power of science, the “virus no longer controls our life”. But Beden warned that pandemic is not over and urged people to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

President Biden's administration had set the goal for July 4th, that 70% of American adults were vaccinated. According to data from Reuters news agency, about 67% of Americans received at least one dose of vaccine.
