Bekim Jashari has confirmed that he will also aim for the second term at the helm of the Sqaheraj municipality.
Jashari on a Facebook post has announced he will join the race for the October 17th local elections.
He has commented on his work in the first term, stressing that the decision to enter the race four years ago was a “not easy decision for me and my family”.
He has said that in his work as chairman for four years, he has managed to become drinking water in 12 villages, while stating that investments have been made in health institutions as well. It has also posted women's support lechonna with 100 euros per birth.
Dear citizens, under oath to continue my transparent and clean-handed governance, to continue with such larger projects, to achieve economic development, well-being, youth employment, modern infrastructure, regular drinking water supply, sewage treatment, environmental protection and proper spatial planning, I have decided that: I ask you for a government mandate as ruler of Scytheright, with the greatest determination to serve you for the next four years. The next few days we'll meet at the official ceremony in which we'll reveal our Skenderaj vision in the next four years”, he said in his announcement.
