The only state where the Arab Spring succeeded is in serious turmoil: That's what happened in Tunisia last night.

Tunisia's president, Kais Sayed, has announced tough measures to prevent movement after political unrest in this country after the prime minister's dismissal. Tunisia was the only success [and relative] of the Arab Spring that caused countless casualties in other countries, destabilizing even worse than they had been.

And it seems even Spring's only success is breaking up.

Tunismen have been awakened from today's Draconics, which ban the movement from 7 p.m. to 6 am, and prohibits them from gathering more than three people in public spaces, reports Guardian, records Periscope.

New restrictions announced by a presidential order allow for movement only for urgent health reasons.

On Monday night, dismissed Prime Minister Hichem Mechi said he would hand over power to the president-elect person.

“in order to maintain the safety of the Tunisians, I declare that I list myself on the people's side, and declare that I will not assume any position of any state responsibility,” he said.

President Sayed's actions were denounced as a stamp by the country's main parties, including Islamists. He has denied these claims.
