In water samples obtained from the IKSHPK in Decan, bacteria have been identified that give indicators of drinking water contamination. In this municipality, about 2,000 people have already sought medical help because of poisoning. Citizens have said they suspect that poisoning came from the water.
The National Institute of Public Health has revealed that in water samples obtained on the 12th. 07. 2021 from the Decani region have been identified with bacteria that may provide indicator of drinking water.
