Prime Minister Albin Kurti has congratulated all Muslim believers on the occasion of the Kurban Bajrami holiday.
Dear Muslim believers, I wish you happiness and joy at the feast of sacrifice, Kurban Bajrami. The sacrifice made for good purpose is loved by God, and by society. The sacrifice made for good purpose cheers our hearts”, Kurti said in his Facebook writing.
We lose something, but we get a lot. This is the message of this festival, which has even more meaning for people like us - not big or not rich. With our joint sacrifices, with commitment and hope, with solidarity and kindness, we will make Kosovo stronger state and more prosperous society”.
“To eat Bajram”, he has said, calling for respect for measures such as social distance since the country and the world still faces the pandemic of David-19.
Dear Muslims you're celebrating today. It is the second year that we spend this festival in the wake of a global pandemic threat, which has been unable to make pilgrimage to the pilgrimage because of health measures taken by Saudi Arabia. In Kosovo this year, we are calmer than in the past year and the measures have been relaxed, thanks to the work of health institutions that have provided massive population vaccination, the process that is being implemented by over”.
According to Kurti, Kurban Bajrami can celebrate as is tradition, family and friends, but still maintaining social hygiene and distance.
