The procedure of appointing head head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI) has cast a strong shadow of doubt on Petrit Ajet's false statement of the political past, named in this position on 15 April.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti's charge and President Vjosa Osmani's post of state chiefspion has hidden his political past, the Isander newspaper has revealed.

In his CV introduced by state institutions on 15 April, two political positions Petit Ajeti had held before being appointed to lead AKI were not presented.

Even though Ajeti had hidden it in his CV that institutions had made public on the day of appointment as the director of AKI, he has been part of AAK structures for years and continues to maintain his proximity to the people of this political subject.

In 2009, Petit Ajjeti had been the AAK candidate for Asamps in the Gjilan municipality, where only 207 votes had been received in local elections.

Petit Ajeti, currently director of AKI, had also been head of AAK's youth in the Gjilan municipality, but also a member of the AAK leadership in the Gjilan municipality and a member of the AAK Steering Council at the central level.

In 2013, Petrit Ajeti had served as security adviser to Agim Ceku, former defence minister at the Thaci government 2. But his past within Ceku's cabinet is hidden from state institutions on the day of naming the new head-of-state.

Ajjet's service in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Ceku is testified by public data on the Defence Ministry website.

In a report by the Ministry of Defence on December 13, 2013, it was known that Petit Ajjeti -- in the quality of the security adviser at the time -- Minister Ceku HINA had traveled on an official visit Along with the former minister in Naples, Italy.

From close sources with the director of AKI, it is taught that Ajjet is very close to President Vjosa Osmani's husband, don Sadriun, who also comes from the municipality of Gjilan.

With President Osmani's husband, Ajjeti had created great proximity from studies in Political Science and during his work on the Kosovo Security Force.

Ajeti is taught that he has been appointed director of AKI with the direct support of Princeton Sadriou, but he is also close to Shemsi Syla, currently deputy defence minister from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks.

At the AKI leadership facility, there are currently two former AAK officials, Petit Ajeti, as director and Burim Ramadani as general inspector.

To conceal information and insincerely, AKI ousts all public officials from verification, forcing them to resign from public office. Hideting the past from the key person entrusted with the security of the state is a serious precedent.

Based on Article 4 of the Law for AKI, the agency that is currently leading Ajeti is responsible for verifying the security of its officials.

“AKI will protect the security of activities, information, employees and property through relevant means, including the verification of candidates, employees and contractors according to the need”, is highlighted in the first paragraph of Article 4 of the Law.

Petit Ajeti replaced Kreshnik Gashi at the head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency. Gashi was dismissed in December last year on the decision of former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and at the time was.d. President Vjosa Osmani.
