The fire at the Nazi city hospital was allegedly caused by the explosion of an oxygen tank.
Nasiria is located some 35 miles [375 km] south of Baghdad.
Health officials said the fire was put under control and that research operations are continuing.
Prime Minister Mustafa al-Qaeda ordered the arrest of health managers and civil protection, including the manager of the ward of isolation of patients with coronarys, his office said.
In April, a fire caused by the explosion of an oxygen tank at a hospital in Baghdad killed at least 82 people and injured another 110.
Coronavius in Iraq has infected over 1.4 million people.
Of them, over 17,500 patients have lost their lives.
