The director of the main Family Medicine Centre in Decan, Selmon Berisha, has told the media that over 1,000 and 500 people have sought medical treatment because of poisoning.
He has said that the state of health of patients is good.
“Mby 1,000 and 500 people have requested health care since Saturday. 99 percent of patients have received medical services. The condition of patients is good“, he said.
Decani residents are allegedly poisoned by the water of the drink, though the prosecution is conducting investigations in this direction.
In addition to the QKMF in Decani, some patients have also been referred to for treatment at Pec Hospital.
Over 20 patients have received health services at this hospital.
