25-year-old stabbed 16 times, the expert says it's impossible to know how many people hit

That's why Hasan Zenelay is accused of murder. The indictment reportedly meant for revenge in 1989 in Decan, the defendant in co-ordination with his brother, now the late Selim Zenelaj, had been deprived of life now to the late Zekaj Zekaj, reports the “Justice bet”.

In this case, forensics expert has been invited to Tuesday's session to testify whether the deceased's injuries were caused by the actions of two persons or the use of two knives.

In these circumstances, however, expert Uka said it was impossible to determine that the stabs in the body of the deceased were done by one person or two.

It is impossible to confirm that wounds caused in the body of the deceased are caused by one person or more than one person. We have no forensic basis to say that the wound was caused by one or two knives, based on the characteristics of wounds caused by mechanically strong sharp vehicle”, said Ukaj expert.

He added that forensic expertise had been done based on the Ukaj deceased's monitoring report and clarified that his wounds were caused by a strong tool with a tip or a knife.

If forensic expertise were to take place at the scene, it would be possible to clarify more circumstances, according to Uka.

At Tuesday's session, the court panel led by Judge Sami Shardaku approved prosecutor Sahedie Gashi's proposal that the Pec municipality Archive hand over the original full criminal file created in the case 302 years ago.

This proposal for securing this criminal record was rejected by the defendant's chief defender, Hasan Zenelaj, lawyer Ramiz Krasniqi. The same added that the proposal was late and that evidence was unacceptable.

During this session, witnesses Musa Ramaj, Sabrije Ukaj and Haki Ukaj were also submitted to read witnesses' testimony, and despite the Apel Court's direction, the parties agreed not to show up at the scene, arguing that it would not contribute to the whiteening of the case. The next session was scheduled for August 5th, 2021, by 10:00, reports the “Bet on Justice”.

In February 2020, former head of the court, Silas Lokaj, had found the defendant Zenelay guilty and sentenced him to 11 years in prison.

However, the Court of Appeals had approved the complaints of defendants' defenders, Ramiz Krasniqi and Berat Tmava, on which he had turned the case into retrial, arguing that the first degree ruling cannot stand as legal.

According to the indictment, filed on May 29, 2019, by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Peja, Hasan Zenelaj, formerly known as Besim Zenelaj, is charged with being sentenced to the current account Selim Zenelaj on October 20, 1989, by the time of 9:30, on the former “Ed Kardeli” in Decan, in the vicinity of the canal for water, by agreement with now sentenced Selim Zenelaj, by revenge now deprived of life to the late Zekaj, 25-year-old from the village of Strell Em.

According to the indictment, the case had a starting point in a beating that had occurred on June 12, 1989, between the defendants and the late brother.
Based on the prosecution, now the late Zekay Ukaj had been forwarded for a while, and then approached from behind, originally convicted Selim Zenelaj, grabbed him by the neck with his left hand, while with his right hand, he began to stab him in the front of the chest.

Always according to the indictment, when the late defending officer Selim Zenelaj and the convict Selim Zenelaj fall into the water canal, defendant Hasan Zenelaj comes down to the canal and until convict Selim Zenelaj is now holding the deceased for arms, hitting him several times on the back and other parts of his body, a total of 16 hits, most of them in vital organs, which, in turn, changes life at the scene of the event.

In the course papers, accused Hasan Zena, known as Besim Zenelaj, has escaped immediately after the critical event and has not been known the location, with former District Court cases in Pec issued a warrant.

As the accused was elusive for the prosecution's organs, the Peja Court reportedly issued a letter of international order on December 5, 2015, while the defendant was arrested in the Swiss state on January 27, 2019, where he was extradited to Kosovo on May 8, 2019.

However, against the other defendants, Selim Zenelaj, who is accused of committing a serious murder with Hasan Zenelaj, had continued procedure, with the case, on September 20, 1991, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison, with an all-powerful conviction.
