Today it is 11 years since the International Court of Justice in The Hague has announced the advisory decision, under which the declaration of Kosovo's declaration of independence has not violated international law.
With 10 votes to and 4 against members of the International Court of The Hague had decided in favour of Kosovo, thus rejecting Serbia's request for violations of international law.
The decision was read by the president of the International Court of Justice at the time, Hiassatio Owada.
