B.1.621: A new version of the choreography under investigation

The version, known as B.1.621, was designated as an option after the investigation made Wednesday.

There is no evidence to say that it makes vaccines less effective, or causes more serious illness, this Minister has declared.

Sixteen cases have been confirmed with B.1.621 throughout Great Britain so far.

Most of the cases are related to travelers abroad, there is no evidence of communitarian infections in Britain.

The statement says that laboratory tests are being conducted to better understand how mutations affect the behavior of the virus. /Periscope
