China's famous herd of wandering elephants may have begun a return trend toward the south after traveling north 500 miles [500 km] to Yunnan province of China.
Elephants were introduced to Ashan in the city of Yux on Thursday after traveling for 13.5 km northwest, according to their migration monitors, Periscope follows.
Shen Qingzhong, an expert, stated that despite preliminary studies showing a trend of elephant restoration, it was not yet known.
These elephants are legally protected species from China, and for that reason the efforts to save them are titanium.
