Kosovo Assembly MPs will gather again next week. One will be solemn on June 22nd, and the other regular on June 24th, where the people's elected are expected to decide on the dismissal of five (5) members Council of Independent overseer for Civil Service of Kosovo.
This, according to opposition parties, is being done in order to capture independent institutions.
After the Assembly of the Parliamentary Headship of the LDK, Arben Gashi said this approach of power is wrong.
In this regard, worried the AAK parliamentary group's chief, Besnik Tahiri, said the tendency of power is to dismiss and apprehend independent institutions. ,
“Whatever downloading of boards is on the basis of a performance assessment and not on political influences”, he said.
However, the opposition showed differences in the way former CEC chairman Valdete Daka launched his dismissal.
While in the AAK they said they support the initiative in the Constitutional Court to sack Daka, in LDK they said they would expect the former CEC leader's actions for legal actions.
