Watra and diaspora in America: Unacceptable Zajednica

The Pan-Albanian Federation in America Vatra has voiced against association an ethnic in Kosovo. In response to this Federation, they are said to be concerned with the analysis that Kosovo has the obligation to establish the Association of Serb majority municipalities.

For every Albanian, this topic is unacceptable. Kosovo's path towards peace, development and freedom has been possible. Over the period of 20 years, certain thoughts and different attitudes about developments in post-war Kosovo have been given. There have also been ethnic states that have given their opinions about intensive talks between Kosovo and Serbia and Kosovo's integration into the large European family. All these thoughts about the development of the new state of Kosovo have been welcomed every time by the Albanian leadership in Pristina and Tirana”.

The “Declarations from official Washington have been welcomed and accepted by the Albanian-Americans. Federation V ARA and Albanian-Americans have always been supporting the policies of the White House, Congress, Senate and the U.S. State Department. V ARA and Albanian-Americans have made it clear that we will never be allowed to have a second ʹBosnje, or Serbia's residence in Kosovo. This is also the opinion of the absolute majority and pro-Albanian guests in the White House, Congress, Senate and State Department and other American state institutions. We will always say no to a new Serb mini-state in Kosovo intended to integrate into the EU and remain in eternal friendship with the US”.

Vatra stresses that Kosovo cannot have association on ethnic grounds. Kosovo cannot establish any association that conflicts with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the country's laws and the aspirations of the Albanian people in Kosovo”.
