The authorities announced that ten people, including nine children, lost their lives in a car accident involving 15 vehicles. The violent storm is thought to have been the cause of the accident. Officials also announced that a large number of people were injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old and a three-year-old child died after a tree fell over their house on the outskirts of the town of Tuscaloosa in the state of Alabama.
The incidents occurred as rainfall hit most of northern Alabama and Georgia. In the meantime, North Carolinans were warned Sunday of the danger that tropical storms may present as they approach this country.
