Tolaj: Mass vaccines are being ignored, options of COVID-19 may appear

Infectologist Ilir Tolaj has said it's obvious that mass inoculation does not exist, and that a day it would have to be vaccinated by over 30,000 people and not just 40,000 people are being vaccinated. It's obvious that the vaccine is not enough and the vaccine supply hasn't yet been made at the level on it [...]
It's obvious that the vaccine is not enough and the vaccine supply hasn't yet been made at the level at which it should then be possible to become a massive vaccine. That's why I believe there's no mass inoculation”, Tolaj said.
“The terminology of mass inoculation implies a vaccine in which an extremely large number of people will be involved in many vaccines by meeting a number that would exceed 30,000 vaccinated per day. While now we are seeing there are 4,000 vaccines a day”, he told EO.
Tolaj pointed out that there have been options since the beginning of the pandemic and that the Delta version is already present.
According to him, if the vaccine continues to be flawed, then the possibility of new options is possible in the future.
The subsist has been available since the beginning of some of them have become dominant in causing infections and now there is also the Delta version. It is certain that if the pandemic continues and the vaccine will be flawed and the number of people who have passed the infection either naturally or who have developed immunity through vaccines is smaller then even the possibility of new variants is possible in the future”, he added.
The new variables which can eventually appear can also come to Kosovo, but I can't expect that there will be a new wave of infection that we had earlier. To disrupt the performance of pandemic is evident every corner in the world that must exist a collective community of population. That immunity can be created in two ways by passing the infection naturally or by vaccinating”.
“... it's important that mass vaculation even those who have gone through it because they're going to get immunity. And all vaccines that are being used in the world are successful. If authorities in Kosovo are successful with ensuring a much larger amount of vaccines and by mobilizing the vaccine potential for a new wave is minimal or does not exist in Kosovo”, he concluded in an interview for EO.
