The head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, has said in front of the media that they are concerned with the tendency to apprehend and dismiss independent institutions.
“The AAK is concerned with the tendency of the capture and dismissal of independent institutions, my request in Headship is that whatever the dismissal or penalism is made to a certain board is on the basis of an assessment, of a performance, on a basis of an assessment stemming from abuses, and not on political grounds”, Tahiri said.
During the media conference, Tahiri confirmed that independent institutions should be independent and report only the Parliament, and by no means the political parties, in particular, the Government that now has the majority.
