Svechla's former commander: Rachel is a deserter and needs to be investigated, not a veteran's status

So says former Interior Minister Jelal Svecla's commander, Skender Tahiri.

Tahiri, invited to the Frontal TV show at T7, says Svecla may have been scared, so he may have removed his KLA uniform to join the refugees.

I've met Mr. Svechla during the war, he's stayed in our area for only 10 days. We met by chance. But during the time, I know he defected and went somewhere else. He may have removed his uniform and joined the refugees. There are soldiers who have been afraid and removed their uniform have joined refugees”, he says.

Tahiri says they do not know why Svechla after 10 days has left the KLA.

Then it was not a public name, now two late co-ordinators have shown it was part of the war. After 10 days I know he left I don't remember how. The war started in Drenica so it was proud to unite every citizen. But running away is a bad place and we call it a deserter of war. We asked our friends where Svechla was, but we were told he walked. I don't think he has continued the war, he's probably in fear of”, he declared.

He has indicated that justice must be dealt with deserters, and see if Svechla has operated elsewhere after leaving Drenas.

Former Interior Minister Jedal Svecla's commander, Skender Tahiri, has indicated that Svecla does not belong to the veteran's status.

“Svechla is not a veteran's status. He's only been fighting for 10 days and he's gone. He's a deserter”, he declared.

Otherwise, he has indicated that justice must be investigated by Minister Svechla, as war deserters are condemned, as expressed.

After the war someone had to deal with deserters, justice to see where he operated.

There are probably some of his natives who know where he operated. His associate told me that Svechla was the one who left the war because I didn't know”, he declared.
