Just less than four months ago, the United States announced it would help Ukraine with a package of $125 million, including the type “Mark VI” patrol boats.
US President Joe Biden told his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, on Monday that he will lobby for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity before a summit between White House chief and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which is scheduled to be held next Wednesday in Geneva.
Military assistance to Ukraine from the world's most powerful state came after Pentagoi said this country has made sufficient progress in defence reforms this year, as required by American laws.
