Students ask that the church at the UPI campus be converted into a museum: It reflects Serbian genocide

Servers “Objected by criminals”, “Stop inciting hatred”, “No sign of crime on campus”, of Milosevic's and Arkan's <x6 crimes, and of no one's pardon to anyone”, and photographs showing the genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo, have been placed by students in the Orthodox Church in the UP courtyard after the liturgy was held yesterday.

Representatives of the Student Parliament declared that the object of the church at the university campus is the object of Milosevic and Arkan's legacy and the symbol of genocide committed in Kosovo.

Student Parliament Speaker Erblin Hoxha said this object must either leave the campus The UP's either be announced museum for reflecting the Serbian genocide on the people of Kosovo.

This object must be treated as any other illegal object and leave the university campus in accordance with the law. We ask our law - enforcement bodies not to allow or give permission to criminals to organize such provocations hidden in the garment of liturgy, for they are driven by hatred rather than by faith. The Albanian nation's religious tolerance, despite provocations, is exemplary and valuable, with which we all boast. Therefore, as students appeal to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo or remove the illegal object and do not allow provocations from anyone in our campus or declare museums for reflecting the Serbian genocide on the Albanian population and the culturalicide and violence to the spaces and objects of education institutions in Kosovo”, he said.

He said Kosovo institutions require the release of the university campus from Milosevic's crime symbols and Arkan.

This object is not the church, but the legacy of Milosevic and Arkan criminal, this object is a symbol of fascism and genocide committed in Kosovo. We student representatives oppose both the illegal object and the liturgy that tries to restore memory of the existence of this criminal legacy.
